Are you Gellin’?

Applied Minwax Aged Oak Gel Stain to 1-1/8″ skip planned solid popular. All these shelves came from a single kiln-dried board that was about 10′ long and 12″ wide. It was squared up to 10″ wide. Sanded to 180 grit and not finished planned to leave all the surface imperfections to give it an aged look. Great wood selection from the Hardwood Connection in Sycamore, IL. It was too cold in the garage workshop to stain, so threw a plastic drop cloth over the kitchen table, and moved inside. These shelves are going in the laundry room that we renovated.
